Celebrating OTF Seed Grant Recipients at Dress for Success Willowdale

This morning, I was pleased to join the team at Willowdale’s own Dress for Success to celebrate the latest cohort of Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) Seed grant recipients.

This year, our government provided over $16 million to help support 245 Seed projects in communities big and small across Ontario.

The funds will help non-profits of every variety plan for the future, pilot new programs, and expand operations.

Dress for Success, for example, received $82,600 to help connect newcomer women to Canadian work experience and skill development so that they can achieve financial independence.

In all, in 2024 our government invested more than $70 million through OTF’s various funding streams to help build healthy and vibrant communities from Windsor to the Northwest and everywhere in between.
